- You are born outside the Canada after 15 February,
1977 to atleast one parent who is a Canadian citizen
Note: If any one of your parent
is a Canadian citizen by descent and the other parent
is not born or naturalized in Canada, then you may
loose your Canadian citizenship on your 28th birthday
unless you apply to retain your Canadian citizenship

may be eligible to Renounce your Canadian citizenship

- You
are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old who
will not live in Canada
- You
prove that you will become a citizen of a country
other than Canada if your application to renounce
is approved

You will not be a threat to Canada’s security
or part of a pattern of criminal activity and understand
the significance of renouncing your Canadian citizenship
