The work permit issued at the time of entry is maximum
for 1 year
- The
work permit can be extended up to 2 years and executives

Intra-company Transferees need to have been employed
for a period of not less than 1 year
- Professionals
seeking to engage, as part of a short-term services
contract obtained by a company in another Member
Nation, in an activity at a professional level in
a designated profession working at a parent, branch,
subsidiary, or affiliate company in Canada
Note:
- Maximum
of 1 year employment authorization is issued at
the time of entry

The work permit can be extended up to 2 years. Executives
and managers may request for additional years, if
necessary

The permit duration is a maximum of 3 months or
90 consecutive days within a 12-month period

Visas can be sought for a maximum of 90 days, and
can not be renewed by extension within Canada
